Theory & Technique

   Music Theory should not be as intimidating as it sounds. It’s merely the general principle of music. No you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to be able to play an instrument or to sing. In fact, learning music theory is a good tool to help the learning disabled to learn in other areas of education.

   Technique is a very important part of learning how to play an instrument or singing. Instrument / Vocal Technique is the manner of playing an instrument / singing. Self-taught musicians usually have bad technique due to the lack of knowledge in the subject. Theory and technique are taught throughout all levels of music instruction.
