48-Hour Cancellation, Gate, Credit Card & Refund Policies

48-Hour Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please refrain from texting, emailing, or contacting your teacher directly. The best way to ensure your cancellation or rescheduling is handled properly—and to avoid any billing errors—is by reaching out to your Music Education Adviser at least 48 hours before your scheduled lesson.

If you need to make adjustments due to a holiday or any other reason, please remember to reschedule or cancel your lesson at least 48 hours in advance. For your convenience, all lessons are scheduled at the same time each week. We are proud to offer lessons 365 days a year, including public holidays, to accommodate your busy schedule.

Please note that if a lesson is not rescheduled or canceled at least 48 hours in advance, we will need to charge the full lesson fee in order to compensate your teacher for their time. We also kindly ask that you do not cancel or reschedule lessons through email or directly with your teacher.

Gate Policy

If you live in a gated community, we kindly request that you add your teacher to the guest list or provide us with an access code. This will help ensure smooth entry to your home and prevent any delays. If your teacher is delayed at the gate or unable to enter, your teacher will be compensated for the full hour starting at the scheduled time. Please note that, due to time constraints, the teacher will need to leave at the scheduled end time.

These guidelines help us maintain a smooth schedule for both you and our teachers, ensuring your lessons stay on track and on time.

Credit Card Charge Permissions

Upon enrollment, you provided your Music Education Adviser with your credit card information for safekeeping. This card will be automatically charged, as agreed, for weekly, monthly, or prepaid lesson payments.

Refund Policy

We regret that we are unable to offer refunds for prepaid lessons, including weekly lessons, lesson packages, or gift certificates. However, please note that any unused lesson payments or gift certificates will be donated to Music Education For Foster Children six months after non-use or 10 days after the expiration date on the certificate.

Guardian Requirement

For the safety and comfort of your child, we kindly ask that an adult guardian (18 years or older) be present in the home for the full duration of the lesson. If a guardian is not present at the start of the lesson, the teacher will unfortunately not be able to enter the home. If the guardian leaves during the lesson, the teacher will need to leave as well. If the teacher is left alone with your child without prior notice, we will be required to notify authorities. In such cases, you will still be charged for the full lesson time.

We deeply appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe and positive environment for your loved one during their lessons.
